居留證 Alien Resident Certificate (ARC)

3.1.1. 申請須知

入境後30日內需申請居留證，申請時間需10個工作天，請注意簽證有效日期，並依下列步驟辦理：

1. 繳交學費後，至註冊組申請「在學證明書」。

2. 備齊以下文件後可親自送至台北巿、新北巿移民署服務站或至移民署網頁申請。

（1） 護照正影本

（2） 簽證頁正影本

（3） 在學證明書正影本

（4） 六個月內近照、

（5） 入學許可正影本

（6） 現居住地證明(租屋契約)如住學校宿舍需附上住宿證明

n 費用 1,000元

n 線上申請: 請至「辦理外國與外僑學生居留證及展延或異動登記線上申辦系統」(https://coa.immigration.gov.tw/coa-frontend/foreign-student/individual)

* 線上申請居留證步驟：

1.註冊帳號「*」標記者為必須填寫的欄位

3. 居留證首次申請選同意，點選【確定】後，方可開始進行申請。

4. 居留證資料填寫:

身分別請選: 外籍生

來台就學學制: 學士

就學狀態: 在學

填寫完後按【送出】

5. 居留證延期申請(含資料異動)

統一證號: 居留證號

來台就學學制: 學士

延期事由: 在學延期

資料填寫完畢按【送出】

註解1. 上傳文件之檔案格式：JPB、JPEG、PNG、BMP 及 PDF

註解2檔案請小於512Kb

註解3如證件雙面均載有資料、正反面均需掃描後上傳

3.1.2簽證相關提醒:

1. 在台停留或居留期間，不可以做與申請停留、居留目的不一樣的活動或工作。如果有違法工作的情況，可以強制驅逐出國。

2. 在台停留或居留期間，須隨身攜帶護照或外僑居留證。主管機關或其他依法令賦予權責之公務員，可以在執行公務時，要求出示這些證件。若未依規定隨身攜帶護照或外僑居留證者，將被罰款 1,000 元。

3. 根據台灣內政部移民署規定，停留簽證或居留證逾期罰則如下：

逾期天數	罰款（台幣）
10 天以內	2,000
11-30 天內	4,000
超過 31-60 天	6,000
60-90 天	8,000
91 天以上	10,000

*逾期停留、居留 90 天以內者，一年不得以免簽證或落地簽入境。逾期 90 天以上者，一年內不得入境。

International students must apply for a residence permit within 30 days of entry . Processing takes approximately 10 working days. Please ensure your visa remains valid and follow the steps below：

1. After paying tuition, request a Certificate of Enrollment from the Registration Office。

2. Submit your application in person at the National Immigration Agency (Taipei/New Taipei) or apply online。 Required Documents:

(1) Passport and visa page (original + copy)

(2) Certificate of Enrollment (original + copy)

(3) Admission letter (original + copy)

(4) One recent photo (within 6 months)

(5) Proof of residence (rental agreement or dormitory certificate)

Note 1: Accepted file formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, and PDF

二，Visa-Related Reminders:

1. Purpose of Stay:During your stay or residence in Taiwan, you must not engage in activities or employment unrelated to the purpose of your visa . Violating this rule (e.g., working illegally) may result in forcible deportation .

2. Carrying Documents: You are required to carry your passport or Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) at all times. Authorities or public officials with legal authority may request to see these documents while performing their duties. Failure to carry these documents may result in a fine of NT$1,000.

3. Overstay Penalties:
According to Taiwan’s Ministry of the Interior National Immigration Agency, penalties for overstaying your visa or ARC are as follows:。

* Overstay ≤ 90 days: No visa-free/landing visa for 1 year. Overstay > 90 days: No entry for 1 year。
