居留证 Alien Resident Certificate (ARC)

3.1.1. 申请须知

入境后30日内需申请居留证，申请时间需10个工作天，请注意签证有效日期，并依下列步骤办理：

1. 缴交学费后，至注册组申请「在学证明书」。

2. 备齐以下文件后可亲自送至台北巿、新北巿移民署服务站或至移民署网页申请。

（1） 护照正影本

（2） 签证页正影本

（3） 在学证明书正影本

（4） 六个月内近照、

（5） 入学许可正影本

（6） 现居住地证明(租屋契约)如住学校宿舍需附上住宿证明

n 费用 1,000元

n 线上申请: 请至「办理外国与外侨学生居留证及展延或异动登记线上申办系统」(https://coa.immigration.gov.tw/coa-frontend/foreign-student/individual)

* 线上申请居留证步骤：

1.注册帐号「*」标记者为必须填写的字段

2.线上申办

3. 居留证首次申请选同意，点选【确定】后，方可开始进行申请。

4. 居留证资料填写:

身分别请选: 外籍生

来台就学学制: 学士

就学状态: 在学

填写完后按【送出】

5. 居留证延期申请(含资料异动)

统一证号: 居留证号

来台就学学制: 学士

延期事由: 在学延期

资料填写完毕按【送出】

注解1. 上传文件之档案格式：JPB、JPEG、PNG、BMP 及 PDF

注解2档案请小于512Kb

注解3如证件双面均载有资料、正反面均需扫描后上传

3.1.2签证相关提醒:

1. 在台停留或居留期间，不可以做与申请停留、居留目的不一样的活动或工作。如果有违法工作的情况，可以强制驱逐出国。

2. 在台停留或居留期间，须随身携带护照或外侨居留证。主管机关或其他依法令赋予权责之公务员，可以在执行公务时，要求出示这些证件。若未依规定随身携带护照或外侨居留证者，将被罚款 1,000 元。

3. 根据台湾内政部移民署规定，停留签证或居留证逾期罚则如下：

逾期天数	罚款（台币）
10 天以内	2,000
11-30 天内	4,000
超过 31-60 天	6,000
60-90 天	8,000
91 天以上	10,000

*逾期停留、居留 90 天以内者，一年不得以免签证或落地签入境。逾期 90 天以上者，一年内不得入境。

1. After paying tuition, request a Certificate of Enrollment from the Registration Office。

2. Submit your application in person at the National Immigration Agency (Taipei/New Taipei) or apply online。 Required Documents:

(3) Admission letter (original + copy)

(4) One recent photo (within 6 months)

(5) Proof of residence (rental agreement or dormitory certificate)

Note 1: Accepted file formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, and PDF
Note 2: Each file must be smaller than 512KB
Note 3: If both sides of a document contain information, please scan and upload both front and back sides.

二，Visa-Related Reminders:

1. Purpose of Stay:During your stay or residence in Taiwan, you must not engage in activities or employment unrelated to the purpose of your visa . Violating this rule (e.g., working illegally) may result in forcible deportation .

2. Carrying Documents: You are required to carry your passport or Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) at all times. Authorities or public officials with legal authority may request to see these documents while performing their duties. Failure to carry these documents may result in a fine of NT$1,000.

3. Overstay Penalties:
According to Taiwan’s Ministry of the Interior National Immigration Agency, penalties for overstaying your visa or ARC are as follows:。

* Overstay ≤ 90 days: No visa-free/landing visa for 1 year. Overstay > 90 days: No entry for 1 year。
